FACE TO FACE (2013)
“I was thinking that we never really have the opportunity to look at each other in the eyes; to meet face and face and see what can come out of this. You’d rather look at what stands on me, other bodies and objects, instead of me. And I? I’d rather look at the ceiling… And then I thought: what if this is our once in a lifetime opportunity for a vis-à-vis? And I seized it.”
Reflecting on matters and materials of the empty stage and miming its voice, Face to Face aims to constitute an intimate encounter between this stage and its audience.
