YOU HAVE ONE UNREAD MESSAGE (2012)
You Have One Unread Message aimed to share and discuss questions and concerns wishing to explore the potentials of performance through written interactions with people I have met on various occasions. This took the form of an online project that moved dia-logically (through and across –written– speech) as a one-off email exchange between different recipients and myself. Occupying the space of an otherwise mundane activity (that of emailing) the project created a mailing chain aimed to expand and exhaust the question ‘What are the potentials of performance?’ through the different voices and directions that its dialogue took. It was presented in the form of a paper scroll including all its writings and exhausting once more -this time in the materiality of a 25 metres long paper object- its main question of interest.
